M1: month 6 (June 2004)
- User requirements and technical and scientific specifications have
been gathered, studied and issued.
- The project is properly and clearly technically specified.
- Basic development tools are available and being used by all partners.
- Content databases are usable.
- First scientific achievements.
M2: month 12 (December 2004)
- Mock ups of components are available to users.
- Basic analysis system, with elementary machinery for element classification
and learning user terms.
- First disseminated scientific developments.
- First batch of semantic descriptors.
- Music fingerprint computation.
M3: month 18 (June 2005)
- First versions of prototype components (music annotator, music visualizer/organizer,
music recommender).
- Basic query and retrieval functionalities are included in the first
prototypes.
- Research on similarity and induction of ontologies has produced operational
models of similarity
- An ontology building system is operational.
- The project has been re-specified, according to user-feedback.
M4: month 24 (December 2005)
- Updated processing components for music collection exploitation.
- Automatic structuring and organisation of music collections.
- Retrieval based on developed similarity measures.
Project Closing: month 27 (March 2006)
- Integration of final prototypes.
- Final evaluation of prototypes.
- Final plan for dissemination and use.
- Final business plan.
